Stop by Southeastern to pick up schedules, meet teachers, pay fees, and sign up for sports. ⏰ Times: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM OR 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM 📲 Check Facebook for Open House locations and details. 📋 SCHEDULE CHANGES No schedule changes at Open House (except for EC or AIG schedules). Requests for electives, PE, or other changes cannot be submitted before August 27th. Schedule change requests must be very limited and require a parent's signature before submitting to the office. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. ⏰ FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL & TIMES Our first student day is this Thursday, August 13th! 🚗 Earliest Drop-Off: 7:30 AM 🔔 Tardy Bell: 8:20 AM 🚌 Dismissal: 3:10 PM 🚗 CAR RIDER LINE RULES Help us keep the line moving safely and efficiently! 🛑 Unloading: Unload 6 to 8 cars at a time—please have your student exit the vehicle as soon as you reach the sidewalk. 🚫 Morning Line: Do NOT create a double line in the morning. 🛑 Afternoon Line: A double line is allowed in the afternoon to speed up dismissal. 🚫 Safety First: Do not cut into the parking lot to drop off kids, and no drop-offs behind C Building (this applies to all students, including student-athletes). Everyone must use the car rider line. 🍎 FREE BREAKFAST & LUNCH We are excited to offer free breakfast and lunch to all students again this year! We hope you take advantage of this awesome program. 🥤 DRINK & FOOD POLICY To protect instructional time and maintain clean classrooms, please note: 💧 Water Only: Students may only have water in classrooms and the gym. All other drinks must be consumed in the cafeteria during breakfast/lunch. 🍕 Outside Food: Outside food can only be eaten during scheduled breakfast or lunch times. 🚫 We will not interrupt instructional time to call students to the office to pick up their lunch, but we will make sure they receive it at lunch. Back-to-School Paperwork Reminder To ensure your student's information is complete for the new school year, all families must complete back-to-school paperwork in two locations: ✅ 1. Infinite Campus Parent Portal Complete the state-required forms and annual updates, including emergency contacts and other required information. ✅ 2. District Back-to-School Forms (District Website) Complete the district and school-specific forms required by Stokes County Schools. Both steps are required to complete your student's back-to-school updates. Report cards will be sent home with students later this month. 📸 Spring Pictures Spring pictures are this Thursday. Students will have the option to have their picture made, so please communicate with your child if they plan to participate. 🎉 Q2 Honor Roll Field Trip Our Q2 Honor Roll Field Trip is Friday, March 20th. Eligible students will be going roller skating! 🛼 Please be sure to turn in your permission form and $6 this week. 🎭 Freaky Friday March’s Freaky Friday will be Friday, March 27th. Students are eligible to attend as long as they: ✔️ Have no OSS days ✔️ Have no more than 2 ISS days between March 2nd and March 27th. 🌎 NJHS Trip The NJHS trip will take place March 31st – April 2nd. 🌷 Spring Break Spring Break will be Friday, April 3rd through Sunday, April 12th. Good Evening Warriors! 💚💛 This is Kristan Gallimore with your weekly message! 📚 Quarter 3 Update Due to the inclement weather days in January and February, the end of Quarter 3 has been extended until March 13th. 🩸 Spring Blood Drive Our Spring Blood Drive will take place Wednesday from 2:00–6:00 PM in the cafeteria. Thank you for supporting this important cause and helping our school community! 📸 Spring Pictures – March 12 Spring picture day is for students who bring payment or express interest in having their picture made. Please communicate with your child if you would like them to participate. ⚾🥎 Spring Sports Reminder Spring weather can be unpredictable, and game/practice schedules may change. Please stay in communication with coaches and check the Events section on our school website for the most up-to-date information. 💧 School Expectations • Only water is allowed outside of the cafeteria. • Other drinks should not be opened in classrooms, gyms, or hallways. 📵 Protecting Instructional Time Our building is a place of learning, and we work hard to limit distractions during the instructional day. If a student forgets an item at home that is not essential, it will remain in the office until lunch.
