A huge THANK YOU to all of our students, staff, and Warrior families for an amazing first week—from Open House to the first days of school, it was fantastic! 🎉 Here is what you need to know for the week ahead: 🏆 Fall Athletics & Parent Meeting Fall sport tryouts continue this week. Please direct all athletic questions to Coach Haynes or your head coach. Fall Sports Parent Meeting: Thursday, August 20th at 6:00 PM in the big gym. We will start with Coach Haynes and then break out into sport-specific sessions. Please plan to attend to review middle school athletic guidelines and expectations! 🚗 Car Rider Line Guidelines Morning Unload: Remind students to unload along the sidewalk. Pull all the way up to the breezeway so 6+ cars can drop off simultaneously. Please do not cut through the parking lot. Afternoon Pickup: Remind your students to watch for their ride and move quickly so we can prevent traffic backups. 🍿 Fall Popcorn Fundraiser Kicks Off Tomorrow! Students are bringing home a permission form tomorrow to sell popcorn. If participating, please sign and return the form by Tuesday. 50% of all profits come right back to SSMS to fund tutoring, instructional supplies, and student incentives for attendance and good behavior! Requests for electives, PE, or other changes cannot be submitted before August 27th. Schedule change requests must be very limited and require a parent's signature before submitting to the office.
